Green Day!

Feb 12, 2007 03:12

So I've been working lately on trying to get better about getting things accomplished on a regular basis instead of procrastinating as much as I tend to do on things.

I'm not going to elaborate terribly since it's way early in the morning and I've been exhausted since I woke up... but suffice to say I coded up a modification of a wiki calendar that keeps track of the tasks I'm supposed to complete for the given days and color codes the corresponding days on the calendar to reflect the percentage of work I accomplished on a given day.

I finally had a green (100%) day today (technically yesterday now), so I'm happy \o/. The other colors represent varying levels of noncompletion... the neutral gray means no entry was created, blue means an entry was created and no items were ever marked completed, red is anything from 1% to 69%, yellow is 70 to 89%, pale green is 90 to 99%, and the darker green is 100%.

I'd really like to have a way to have a script publish just this table to my website somewhere... but I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I don't think PHP has the capability, since I need support for the SCP protocal... but I'm thinking maybe something like a PERL script that reads the page and then subsequently logs into my account at UT... dunnos.

The sleepy time cometh
