We had a tfc match tonight... and I actually wrote up a summary of what happened. It was intense and I was tired.
So here's the basic rundown:
First we realize qbaler isn't on the roster for some reason.
We ask if we can use qbaler.
They agree if they can use their guy in rd2.
We agree
We play rd1... their server is not very great for me anyway, rd1 goes 80-60 them.
Then we have a 10 minute break
Then they come into our server
Then they ask why vac isn't running
They won't play on a non vac server
We try to get vac enabled
We follow instructions and restart server and fail
Everybody including most of us go back to their server
I'm still fighting with our server to get vac...
Please don't make me go back to their server
Bookrat finds miracle opportunity -- Foom has a server
[FooM]Fortnaught sets us up with server info/pass/rcon
We try to tell everybody to go there
Wait they don't have HLTV
Nevermind go to their server
WAIT!! Fortnaught comes through again with hltv info and pass
1 minute left in prematch until live on their server
Tough call, TFCC leave server and state that we are playing on FooM
Other team generally displeased, we apologize :(
Rd2 finally gets underway, foom server works great
Early in the game we go up two caps to tie the overall score
Then we get another one
Then they tie it again
Then we got another I think maybe
then they tie
then they get another
we tie, they get another
back and forth, really close
5-6 minutes left
They're up by one
We tie
Time passes
They go up one
3 minutes left
We tie the game
1:30 ish left
Qbaler brings home a cap with a gren jump
Time passes
More time passes
A butterfly dies
We win the match
Nobody misses the butterfly
Liberties were taken to protect the truth. Side effects may include Nausea, cows, thermal conductivity, and gatorade. You should see your doctor with much enthusiasm. Grill over medium flame for 15-20 minutes, or until train walks by, and serve warm.
