i am so over england.
i went to the supermarket tonight, at 9pm, with my parents. exciting, i know. at about 9.25 they made an announcement, complete your purchases, this store is closed. no warning, no grace period to get to the checkout. so we head towards the checkout, pretty much immediately (and this is a huge store, it takes us maybe five minutes to get there) and on the way we are stopped by two separate employees who tell us,you need to leave, we're closed. im like, excuse me? how exactly did you expect us to get from the back of the store, checked out and out the door before closing time when you didnt make a warning announcement? geez. we moved as soon as we heard it, it wasnt like we were trying to be awkward. and all i could think was, that wouldnt happen in ralphs. or walmart.
but now i am home and The Bourne Identity is playing on cable and Julia Stiles is all authoritative and power dressing and it sort of makes up for it. And my cats didnt make any live kill today, at least not any that they brought in half-alive and that would have to take their last breaths on my carpet and spread their entrails out.
i want to start a new game. i have to get my fix somehow, no confessions or ten fingers or truth or dare for me for ages...no one here wants to play with me :( Well, more accurately, there isnt anyone here to play with me. bigger :(
