D.I.Y. - Tastic!
Well, After getting fed up waiting for people to lend me an electric wall drill, I used my hand drill and mounted the coat rack in the hallway.

It took about 4 hours to drill the 3 holes in the brick, but now its done, its an incredible difference its made to the flat.
I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO HANG MY COAT WHEN I COME HOME!
