Because I'm an Insane Liberal Who Wants the Terrorists to Win, That's Why

After time like with anything else in this world, the value of the dollar is going to sink, we have to face that reality.. It's not Bush's fault, don't continue to blame our problems on him, for things that are bound to happen anyway. - Some troll on Facebook

This is a key evasion tactic practiced by the other side; it's also known as denial. In essence: "Historically, things suck, so we cannot ascribe them to the current administration or expect them to do anything about it." This does not stop them from blaming Clinton, of course, who is responsible for the bad economy, terrorism, and syphilis. Following this line of reasoning, government isn't expected to do anything. Perhaps that's the ultimate goal. Well, that and a post-Apocalyptic society that results from such widespread disorganization.

Anyway, this is why I no longer debate with these people or take them seriously. They remind me of those 80-year-old Georgians who insist Stalin was a helluva guy.

George Bush's legacy is this: he made it socially acceptable to be a bastard. No wonder the selfish man- and womanchildren of the nation will miss him. If you want to elect another idiot who promises to let you stuff yourselves to death while the world burns, to hell with you.
