Christian "Stuff White People Like" Lander finally pulls out the haughty "Ha ha! Ho ho! I hold up a mirror, and you do not like what you see!!!" defense in an Onion interview.
There's a couple. One of them is, "I'm white, and I don't like anything on this list. So I find this very offensive." I always find that particularly funny, because it's like, "So you're offended that I've made a generalization about your race that doesn't apply to you? I think every other minority on earth has been through this in the last thousand years, so good. I'm glad you feel that way."
See, he's right, kind of (I'm trying to figure out why he goes back a thousand years. I think Europeans were mostly beating on each other back then.) But the above statement is pure puffery. It's like me saying that when I sent $10 to Doctors Without Borders, I didn't just send them ten bucks-in my own small way I ended war forever.
Guy created a site that mocks white people for ordering expensive sandwiches and voting for Obama to the great glee of other white people-and now he's Medgar Evers. Sheesh.
