Well, this is... amusing. An obviously fake "WPA" film of Howard Phillips Lovecraft from 1933... Which is dung on many levels, of course, but looks cool even though:
1. Lovecraft had a longer-shaped head.
2. This guy sounds like Tennessee Williams, not a lifelong New Englander.
3. That lamp seems anachronistic.
4. The WPA didn't start up until 1935.
Still, as Mr. Rogers tells us, it's fun to pretend. I'd like to see this done with a better actor and a bit more effort. Too bad David Gale and Fred Gwynne are dead.
