Don't Fear the Reaper
Reaper wasn't bad, and considering my dislike of Kevin Smith's usual uninspired potty humor (and I do believe there's such a thing as inspired potty humor) and the addition of the character "Sock" ("Quick! Jack Black is getting old! Find me a new tasteless slacker icon."), it was fairly entertaining. Probably because he appointed the writing duties to others. I may or may not watch it again, but only for Ray "Leland Palmer" Wise's wonderfully slick yet creepy Satan. Nice to see the Fallen Angel not completely played as a happy-go-lucky buddy type. There's a real undercurrent of menace there owing to Wise's glittering eyes and misshapen head.
