Superman, Prince Charles, and Ferris Bueller: Drake Hotel Patrons
Ruby Bradford is apparently a young local artist involved with Project Onward, an organization that helps artists "with developmental, cognitive, and mental disabilities." I've noticed her work before, but never in such a concentrated way as the displays at Blick Art Supply on State. Ms. Bradford is fixated on three subjects: Superman, Jude Law, and HRH Prince Charles. Apart, this would be splendid, but together... miraculous! I especially like the slash overtones between Supes and Prince Charlie. Or is the Kryptonian simply a Royal Stalker?
