Rubbing her ankle, she sighed. Compared to Rei, Minako, or Makoto, her boots were positively sensible for fighting in--and she did not even try to imagine how it was that Haruka or Michiru managed it.
The enemy simply was not letting up.
Looking out at the snow that was falling, she ignored the other girls as they discussed Christmas gifts. The fact of the matter was that nothing that she wanted could be wrapped, and she doubted it could even happen.
Fingers snapped in front of her eyes as Makoto tried to get her attention. Blinking, she looked up at the taller woman, "Hmm?"
Makoto laughed, "Welcome back. Where'd you go?"
She shook her head, "It doesn't matter."
Rei raised an eyebrow while Minako elbowed Usagi to keep her from asking further. Usagi glared at the other blonde for a moment and then turned back to Ami, "So, what do you want for Christmas?"
Ami bit her lip and looked down, her cheeks blossoming into a blush, "Peace. Maybe some help, more allies." She sighed, "Just one day without an attack."
The other girls nodded, except for Usagi. Their princess and friend just grinned. "Kays!"
Suddenly, Ami wondered about the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it..."
