The day after:
http://mrcrybrilliance.livejournal.com/48790.html After the meeting, Mamoru and the Shitennou left for some basketball. Once it was just the girls in the Shrine, Usagi turned to the others with a smile and a giggle, “So, why is my husband limping this time?”
Rei chuckled, “Oh, you figured that, did you?”
“Yeah.” The princess giggled, “I would have figured it out even without the limping. He always blushes as bad as Ami afterwards. It’s quite amusing.”
Snorting Makoto crossed her arms, “I’m glad someone finds it amusing.”
“At least it wasn’t your first time.” Rei frowned, “Mamoru is very lucky I only crushed his foot.”
“Thank you.” Usagi smiled, “I kind of prefer my husband alive and whole. And I like having a father for my daughter.” She looked around the room at her friends, “So… you all are avoiding the question. Tell me. Please?”
Minako smirked, her eyes cutting briefly to Ami who slowly, shyly, rose her hand, grimacing as she anticipated the reaction.
Usagi did not disappoint. Squealing she threw her arms around her friend, “Ami!!! That’s wonderful! Wait, no it’s not. I mean, it would be if Mamo-chan hadn’t interrupted you. Oh, sweetie.” She pulled away and looked closely at her friend. “Are you wanting to try again tonight. I can make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid.”
Ami giggled as Usagi’s hands were still on her arms. She blushed and shook her head. “We um…we managed to… um… resume.”
“Oh! Good! I won’t have to punish the future king then.” Usagi grinned as she heard the other girls chuckle. “So that means everyone’s really really together now?”
“Usagi, I’m the Love Goddess, not you. But yeah.” She smiled to her. “So… Ami, ice? Explains why he kept the jacket on the whole time. Nicely done.”
“I didn’t let him get frost bit, but yeah… I had to tell Zoe she couldn’t play too, though.” She smirked, “Though, um, she might not play clean ball. Sorry, Usagi.”
“He deserved it.” Grabbing Ami, Usagi pulled her over to a couch.
Makoto grinned over to Rei and Minako, following the two and sitting down in a chair, “Ok, so… good part? How was it?”
Blushing, Ami didn’t answer, but she smiled.
“Oh, that good. I may be straight, but I want answers. A priestess should know these things.” Rei winked, settling herself comfortably on a cushion on the floor.
