This takes place after Usagi and Mamoru's wedding in the KidVerse, about 4 months later. Only one couple hasn't, at the least, forgiven and become friends.
Ami glared at her friends. “I need to study… just go without me.”
“Nope.” Minako smiled to her, “Not going to happen. You have been studying far too much lately, even for you. And you can’t avoid forever.”
She frowned, “I’m not… avoiding. I just don’t have to forgive and be all welcoming just because the rest of you have.” She looked towards Rei, expecting the Shinto Priestess to be able to help the others understand. They were simply asking too much of her.
Rei gently laid a hand on her shoulder and squeezed. “No one is asking you to let her in. But they are Mamoru’s friends, our allies, and there will always be events where the two of you are together. We’re not going to try to set you up.” She turned to look sternly at the other three, who all had the grace to look ashamed, “but simply ask that you be civil and try to have a good time with the rest of us.”
“Besides!” Usagi spoke up, moving to hug her friend, her small but round stomach between them, “I’ve already talked to Mamoru. He promised that he made sure she’d behave and leave you alone, and you get along with the others. Please!”
Ami sighed and rubbed her brow even as she leaned into Usagi’s hug.
Smirking, Makoto spoke up, “Nate promised to keep you distracted with a debate if needed.”
“Fine…”

“You’re an idiot if you try to sing that song to her tonight. She’s coming under protest as it is.” Nate leaned against the door jamb as Zoe finished getting ready, humming a song to herself.
Shrugging, Zoe finished adjusting her ponytail and then checked her reflection. “It’s the only chance I get. I’m going to take advantage of it. Besides, it’s Karaoke. I can just claim I like the song.”
“Mm-hmm. Because she’ll fall for that.” He rolled his eyes and pushed off the jamb. “Just remember, she doesn’t want to be there,” Nate held up a hand before Zoe could snap at him, “So try to take it easy ok? Don’t push her so hard.”
“I know.” She nodded as she took one last look at herself, “Let’s go.”

She frowned as Zoe sang some ridiculously sweet love song. What was it going to take to make her leave her alone?
Rei leaned over, “Careful, hun, the next table might not appreciate all their drinks freezing.”
Ami sighed and looked away from the woman who was infuriating her with her wooing attempts. “Sorry. I should go. This, was a bad idea.”
“No, you shouldn’t. You’ve been fine.” The truth of the matter was that she’d been coldly civil to Zoe, but she had not outright provoked her the way the other woman was currently doing. “Just try to relax and ignore her.”
Haruka, overhearing the conversation, leaned into whisper. “I could beat her up for you. Ouch! Michi!” Her lover, who’d gently smacked her shoulder rolled her eyes.
“Ami… just give her a dose of her medicine.” She winked and turned back to her partner, “And can you stop threatening violence against our allies even when they’re being dumbasses?”
Thoughtfully, Ami grabbed the book of the available songs and leafed through it, grinning when she found one.
The only two who saw her grin were Kadir and Nate. “I told her not to do this…”
Kadir sighed, “I think Ami is about to get some rather painful revenge. It’s my turn to hold her hair, isn’t it?”
Nate grinned, “Sure is. I’ll try to keep her away from the Tequila.”
“Thanks…”

Zoe’s face fell as she heard the song Ami chose. Later, while alternating between sobbing and vomiting, she’d claim that she was not ugly when she cried, only to have all her brothers tell her she’d missed the point.
Oh, how about a round of applause, yeah
A standing ovation
Oooooo, yeah
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
You look so dumb right now
Standing outside my house
Trying to apologize
You're so ugly when you cry
Please, just cut it out
[Chorus]
Don't tell me you're sorry cuz you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught
But you put on quite a show
You really had me going
But now it's time to go
Curtain's finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertaining
But it's over now (But it's over now)
Go on and take a bow
Grab your clothes and get gone (get gone)
You better hurry up
Before the sprinklers come on (come on)
Talkin' bout'
Girl, I love you, you're the one
This just looks like a re-run
Please, what else is on (on)
[Chorus]
And don't tell me you're sorry cuz you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught
But you put on quite a show
You really had me going
But now it's time to go
Curtain's finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertaining
But it's over now (But it's over now)
Go on and take a bow
[Bridge]
Oh, and the award for
The best lie goes to you (goes to you)
For making me believe (that you)
That you could be faithful to me
Let's hear your speech, Oh
How about a round of applause
A standing ovation
But you put on quite a show
Really had me going
Now it's time to go
Curtain's finally closing
That was quite a show
Very entertaining
But it's over now (But it's over now)
Go on and take a bow
But it's over now
