Saeko was not domestic. Clean, she was clean, but not remotely domestic. However, she was also now a grandmother.
“Mom? What are you reading?” Ami’s voice held a bit of confusion as she saw her mother puzzling over something.
Saeko blushed slightly as she looked up from her reading at her own little girl. “Nothing. Just thought I’d try something to get me through slow nights at the hospital.”
Ami raised an eyebrow, but was distracted by Charis’ cry.
A month later, Saeko bit her lip as she watched her daughter’s reaction.
“A baby blanket? It’s perfect. Thank you, Mom.”
