Yuma. I used to call it West Undershirt, but there are more than three hotels now. Even a Home Depot. The heat kept me from taking any real pictures of interesting stuff. However, if I'm out there in November, I'll make a point of visiting Felicity, California. Weird place that.
It's sad when brick and mortar booksellers bite the big one, but maybe we all need to start thinking in terms of E-books anyway.

What happened to Borders is sad; expected but sad. Then, it's good that at least people are taking advantage and getting great prices!
You won't be surprised when I tell you this situation is the result of an organizational restructuring that put new people in places of responsibility. The feet of clay factor is high.
Bargains are good, and one suspects that survival might have been a matter of management competence in a rapidly changing business environment. Sometimes only the agile succeed.

So sad about Borders, but nice to get some good books, although for the worst reason. I hope someone fills those empty stores with books again.
