Back on the GSX-R at Infineon

It was hard to feel comfortable on the bike at Infineon last week, as it just wasn't working the way I wanted it to. The shock felt a little undersprung, the gearing felt a little short, and the brakes didn't have the bite I wanted.

In the past, I would have measured and reset my front and rear suspension, changed the gearing, bead blasted the rotors, and replaced the brake pads. Thanks to my current state of frugality / laziness, I decided to just deal with it.

I've received a few moto-related offers as well. In my review of the GSX-R600, I mentioned how someone would have to be crazy to let me (and my history of almost 30 crashes) test the traction control system on his or her racebike. Guess who was just offered a chance to test an AMA Supersport spec R6 with a traction control ECU?

I also recently received an offer to race a "built" Ninja 250 in the AFM's 250 Production class, which I'm just not very keen on taking given my less-than-impressive speed at recent tralcdays. As a result, I've let both offers slide, but it's nice to know they're available.
