Quest

So I've always thought that if I started gaining weight I would notice and do what it takes to keep it off. Well, over the past year I have gained about 20 pounds. Yesterday began the quest to take it off. Anyone can feel free to join my quest and make a goal for yourself and post about your progress. My goal is to lose 19 pounds by August 5th in a healthy way (better food + tons of excercise) or lose less weight (10-15 lbs), but be super cut by August 5th. The reason for the or is because I think that all the fat might turn into muscle because of the strenuous excercise regimen and I don't want to fail my goal. (Although I guess I won't really care, since I will be so sexy.) I really don't think this will be that hard physically. Although I have gained weight, underneath it I am still in pretty good shape, so I can do a lot of excercising without fatiguing too quickly. The only problems will be motivation and time to which I call out the masses for support and similar commitment. I think hearing about others progress will help keep focused.

Yesterday I went to the gym for about an hour. I did the aerobics machine for 25 minutes (390 calories supposedly) and then some light weights.
13 butterflies at 60lbs and 6 @ 50lbs
25 crunch things with 50lbs
18 curls with 50lbs.

all these weights and sets were down quite a bit from the last time I went to the gym, about 7 months ago.

This morning I ran about two miles and I plan on walking during lunch. (I tried to bring my bike to work, but it didn't work out.) Then tonight I will do some other stuff to be detailed tomorrow. (Unless it isn't.)
