7/10. Classic. I've heard at least six of the eight tracks many times before, although I never knew they were from the same album.
most of Ella & Louis, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong, 1957 [one track is scratched/unplayable].
6/10. Ella Fitzgerald annoys me. These are the least obnoxious performances I've heard from her, and Armstrong and everyone else sounds great, but she still bugs me.

6/10. An extremely thorough greatest hits compilation, including the absurdly long version of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine."
Platinum & Gold Collection, Lou Reed, 2004.
4/10. A terrible best of compilation. Sort of a document of how badly 1960's rock musicians age. A few of the earlier tracks are pleasant (but nothing worth bothering about), but by the time you get to the later stuff it's completely horrible.
