Lately, when I look at my last.fm Top Artist - Overall chart, I have a desire to narrate it as though it were a sporting event.
"That's right bob, Giant Drag and The Books have become bitter rivals over the last couple of weeks, but I wouldn't count out rising star Casiotone for the Painfully Alone just yet, they have a local show coming up, and you know that's going to give them a heavy advantage, I'm sure The Books' coach is going to be keeping a close eye on them!"
"Since the sharp dip they took last month, naysayers have been quick to discount early favorites Freezepop also, Dale, but we've seen signs of comeback this week with their last-minute move to acquire new Mp3s for their roster. This is really anyone's game!"
I guess it would probably help if I knew anything about sports.
