MC Chris Ownz
I saw MC Chris on Saturday night. In spite of the insane schedule cramming I had to do, it was totally worth it. In addition to being extremely entertaining, he was a class-act all the way. He hung around after the show and talked with people and signed stuff. I think the audience was a little too mellow, but that was probably because my ex-roommate Lex was drunkenly yelling at everyone to get more excited. He couldn’t have designed a better way to get the crowd all sullen. At one point, MC Chris actually pointed at him directly and said “Shut the fuck up! No, seriously, you’re obnoxious, just shut the fuck up!” Does that go against what I just said about him being a class act? Having yelled at drunken Lex many, many times over the months he lived with me, I can say I felt a little vindicated. Yes indeed, awesome show.
