Happy New Year.
So apparently, by default, I am the new Speech and Debate coach at the Tutorial school. This is kind of a problem since I don't know anything about debate. Not a thing. I know a bit about public speaking (Persuasive Vs. Informative and such,) although that is pretty fuzzy too. Part of this is that I have to get up at early on Saturday morning to drive to a 8am meeting in Albuquerque. The last time I had to do something like that was when I drove Michael and his girlfriend to the airport, which although earlier, involved very little thinking and pretty much ended with me eating breakfast at Waffle House and then going home. I kind of like Waffle House. I hope this turns out to be similar, I have a feeling I will be in the mood for waffles on Saturday.
Also, this epic metal band The Lord Weird Slough Feg is really awesome, as is their sister band Hammers of Misfortune. I haven't been this excited by a band in a long time.
