P.S. It has come to my attention that there is another assemblage next Monday, which I should like to attend. Therefore I shall postpone my ball until a week from Friday, which I hope will allow me to meet more of my new neighbours

Thank you very kindly indeed! Circumstances have dictated a slight alteration of my plans-I must postpone until a week from Friday. I shall look forward to seeing you then, if not before!
Very well, thank you for letting me know--and by all means, you are welcome to stop by for tea at any time. May I inquire to your living arrangements? Have you found something suitable?
You are most welcome, and I thank you in turn for your kind offer! I have indeed found a suitable location-it is at the northeastern corner of the park, not far from the ravine. The household is in place and you are also welcome to visit at any time.
How wonderful! I am most pleased to hear things are in order, and so quickly. Would the city allow you to stable, being so near the park? I was speaking to the horses today and they are ever so eager to become aquainted.
It seems people in this town are prepared for sudden arrivals, peculiarly enough. Unfortunately, I have no permission to stable, so I would be greatly obliged to you if you would allow me to stable Horatio with your horses.
I would love to have Horatio here. Would it be easier for me to pick him up or would you take him here yourself? And is there a particular diet he follows? I will do my best to make any accommodations you see fit.
Thank you very much indeed! If you will allow me, I will bring him to you. I expect his diet is much like that of other horses-oats, hay and the like. When would it be convenient for me to bring him by?
Any time would be convenient, but the sooner the better if city ordnance is involved. Tomorrow, perhaps? I will see that I have a stable cleared in the back with all proper amenities.
Marvelous! I will remember to put in an order at the bakery and have ready the other foodstuffs by then. It will certainly be a ball to remember.
Yours,
Count D

Right you are! I shall be by with Horatio tomorrow. Until then, and thank you once more.
