A little tattoo preview - LOVE IT!
I had another tattoo appointment for my huge leg piece and while I was trying to save sharing it with the internet before it was finished, I had to share the work I had done today:
The main reason for the leg tattoo was to do something with my original leg tattoo as it needed a bit of tlc. Well today my tattoo guy spent the whole 4 hour appointment on bringing it back to life.
Obviously the before and after.
I cannot believe how shit the before is. I knew it was bad by look at the difference! I'm actually ashamed of the before image, I can't believe I had that on the back of my leg for 10 years.
The before is by the guy my current artist used to work with so I think he took a certain amount of pleasure in bettering his ex-colleague's work. He took before and after photos and even charged me less cause he got so involved in this element of the tattoo where he wanted to make more progress today. I'm so glad he enjoyed it cause you can see the amount of effort he put into parts like the blending of the hair and the tone in the skin.
It hurts like a bitch though... the price I have to pay I guess.
