What's up with all these 'MISSING [white cute smalltown] KIDS!' headlines? Granted, the story about the children trapped in the car were not all white or middle-class, but it seems the headlines started with the woman missing in Aruba and now that's all you see in the news. Not to downplay it, but lots and lots and lots of people under the age of 18 go missing everyday in the country and always have. I know in the past you've had flashes of "MISSING CUTE WHITE GIRL!" in the headlines, but I've noticed almost everyday is a new story about [white] kids gone missing and there is usually a sex offender or boy scout or exotic locale involved. What's up with that?
In other news, I finally got most of my apt. in order! Whoo-hoo! Now, I just have to clean my room.
In other, other news. I'm a chubby monkey. My god. You eat candy and cake for a meal everyday for a few months and suddenly none of your pants fit. What's up with that???
