Put my clarinet beneath your bed til I get back in town
Busman's Holiday is traveling over break. We're in Warner Robins, GA. We played for six people at the Drip Drop Cafe, but only because we were two hours late. Apparently there were more people there at 7:00 when we were supposed to start. It was the only actual gig we had planned before we left and of course we managed to be late. But hey, it's us. It's how we do. We're staying at the house of the owner of the cafe and Nick and I just spent a good while trading songs outside with a guy who's crashing here currently.
We spent Sunday night through Tuesday morning with Ben Fowler and his dad at his dad's house in the mountains just outside of Asheville, NC. We played downtown once in the afternoon and again in the evening. Yesterday we played at a coffee shop at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. There were a good number of kids there and good number of them danced their asses off. There aren't too many better feelings.
Tomorrow we'll be in Athens, GA on the street corner happily accepting people's money, and boy do they love to give it to us. Friday we'll be in Nashville, TN and Saturday we'll be coming home to what I hear is going to be 30 degree weather... lame.
