She, although it did not know it was a she, woke up and rubbed her glossy dry eyes. This was her first morning. Many hairy bodies we're around her and although she was acustomed to it the smell of dirt and shit hung in the air. The sky was a cloudness blue wonder, and if it had seen the ocean she would of been confused as to why the world had suddenly flooded. One by one the creatures woke up, stood up, rubbed thier ancient eyes, and walked out the mouth of the cave. She saw that the whole hillside they "lived" on was full of caves. She already knew that somewhere where only the extreme thoughts of killing one another or killing ones self was stored. Ancient information. At the very center of where they lived was a valley. As old and dusty as the knowledge of getting up and getting dressed is for us, they walked down to the valley with a second nature knowledge. It would take the whole day to walk down the path which had been set by a thousand feet before them. By the time she had reached the first of the gentle and swaying grass of the valley the sun was being pulled down between two mountain peaks. When they all had reached the valley they stood dumb founded in the center. With heads looking helplessly to the sky. Still cloudless the sky began to fill. Not with birds, smoke, or anything else that would normally fill a cloudless sky. The rocks fell. Some the size of a human head, some the size of a small car. Still looking up the creatures stood still and began to be crushed. No sounds, no screams. Just the sounds of snapping and crunching. She looked up saw the sky fill with the drak brown of a pebble to black. The valley filled and the world became quiet again. The moon began it's run across the sky. The rocks dissapeared, and the blood evaporated. The sky filled with empty blue again. When the sun rose nothing was left.
