So I've been bothered by stuff recently. Mostly the fact that I seem to be a ghost in most people's lives. I'm there, I do stuff for them, but when it comes time to be hung out with or called, or even IMed, I'm not on the list. People down here do these long ass end of the year entries about everything they're going to miss, and then they

Gotta love those 3am journal entries and e-mails. I've found myself many a time writing those types of things. I think it's b/c when you're tired you just keep on letting the thoughts flow w/o realizing how much you've actualy typed.
Anyway, about the entry, I find it kinda interesting b/c I've gotten to know you so well that I can reference to most of the things you implied or at least have heard about it. Not that that's a bad thing, but definitely interesting cause you know how alike we can think sometimes.
As far as switching schools throughout your life, I've definitely been there done that. Started right from the getgo, switching to home after kindergarden and sticking w/ that for 1-4 and 7-8. Talk about having no social life when you're doing that. And then moving to Virginia and back in there also, so having to get to know new ppl. Hell, I've even had experience w/ that in college sofar. Like you're other friend said, making choices btw. education and friends kinda sucks. Guess life just takes us different ways when there's nothing we can do about it.
I kinda thought about all you're saying being ridiculed and not being the popular person throughout grade and h.s. I was in the same situation, and now that I look back on things, all that happened way back didn't really hurt me in the long run. Ppl make new friends in college, and in a way you have control over making a fresh start and being accepted with a group or whatnot. Maybe you can relate to that somewhat, maybe not, I don't know. But do think about it; all that other stuff is in the past, and you are where you are now regardless of what happened. There's a couple quotes that come to mind:
Muhammad Ali said "Dont count the days; make the days count." and the common phrase "Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life."
I know even though there's these quotes, you're probably still regretting not having done something or done something differently for all these years past. I do it too, probably alot more than I should. But no matter how hard I try, those days sure ain't coming back. Gotta work w/ what you have now.
Last point that comes to mind (I think). With you girlfriend, and not being part of her social group or whatever, you can't please everybody. If ppl don't really like you, not too much you can do about it, just kinda happens. Also, nobody can ever have the absolute perfect situation with life in general, and so if she means alot to you, that's what's most important. Also like your other friend (sorry I don't know names) I can't say I've been kissed either, and 20's coming around the door also. I've never really have had any kind of relationship that would be considered even remotely serious. Likewise I never have any trouble making any female friends, but am always lumped under that category for whatever reason. Oh well, having lots of friends anyway is something not everybody can brag about.
So to sum everything up, guess I'd say just keep hanging in there, and never hesitate to keep me posted, which I know you won't.
Andy
P.S.: We'll hafta get out and play some golf or at least go to the range soon since the weather's nice. Don't know what you're doing this weekend but maybe even then. Although guess I need to figure out a way to get home in the first place . Well anyway, while on the subject of golf, thought I'd leave you w/ a couple quotes which I'm sure we can relate to:
"I had a wonderful experience on the golf course today. I had a hole in nothing. Missed the ball and sank the divot." ~Don Adams
and for the clincher:
"Playing golf is like going to a strip joint. After 18 holes you're tired and most of your balls are missing." ~Tim Allen
hehe
good luck finishing up your last exam or two
