Summer = Work + Friends+ Loneliness

Hi everybody. It's been a while since my last update, hasn't it. Sorry about that, but working 40 + hours a week doesn't allow for much time to be spent messing around on the Internet. I'm trying to spend time with my friends, my family, and leave some for myself, but it just isn't working. Oh well, at least I'm making some money. Not that I'll see any of it because it's all tied up in my car, but hey, at least I'm doing something kinda productive with the summer. Working at the City of Miamisburg is not as bad as was earlier expected...I've got a good crew and a good job, and it's pretty laid-back, so I'm enjoying that.

So far, I've been to Florida and Texas (though Texas was a business trip thing with my dad, and also to see a girl still special to me down there). I had a fantastic time with my family in Florida, and an even more amazing time with Sarah in Texas. It really gave me confidence to come back to wonderful dumpy Dayton and try to live my life as positive as I can. Though I will say that being alone in Dayton for the summer totally sux. I don't know where to meet girls my own age. The ones I do meet just spurn and reject me. Sure, the week in Texas was amazing with Sarah, but she's in Texas....what am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to believe that there are no girls my age up here in Dayton that would even be interested in me? ::sigh::

It's an interesting summer, having everybody home and working full time. I'm really looking forward to school starting this fall again. mostly because of the living there and the school, but because I miss being my own person. I'm torn in 100 different directions here at home, with no guidance as to where to go. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal with it myself. Well, time for me to go. Anybody got any advice they wanna pass along, like where to meet girls my own age, I'd love to hear from you. Cya.
