I can't browse communities because it is a 'Paid' membership right/privelage only. Thus, I can only glom onto other's communities when they're listed on the info page. So, wait, I don't understand.
No one reads this garbage anyway. Why the hell would I pay to be ignored?
It is nice to have a conversation with myself every now and again....but it's not like by paying I would instantly be guaranteed similar people who would stand idly by and read whatever I wrote and comment. So, thus, why is it any better than throwing my money into the street and attmpting to talk to drifters who fight over it while it lays at my feet?
Sometimes the world seems so backwards. I understand 'Paid' members have more privelages, and contribute funds so that I can enjoy my free "leech" status on this site to post to the chasm that represents my LJ in my mind. But wouldn't meeting new people through new communities make me want to pay? Moreso than paying to maybe meet them? At least a 30 day trial of a 'Paid' status would be nice.....then after 30 days, go ahead and reduce my account back to 'Plus' if I don't pay.
But at least let me see Paradise before you charge admission.
