Today was a really awesome day. Despite all the less than stellar things that happened the weather was outright inspirational.
I like it when job postings include "must have a sense of humor" as one of their requirements. I like to think that it gives me an edge over all those overachievers who've spent all their time with their nose to the grindstone. This one job I'm applying for is requiring a "great sense of humor." I figure if I go to the interview wearing a clown suit they'll pretty much have to hire me. Then again, I think "sense of humor" is really just employer code for "we're gonna make you our bitch!"
I saw a narcoleptic woman on the T the other day. She was eating a cookie. Every now and then she would take a bite and her head would slowly bob down towards the guy sitting next to her. Then, after a few minutes the train would jostle her and she'd wake up and resume eating her cookie. She drooled all over the seat next to her. Hooray for public transportation!
