A night of good and evil
I know I rarely post, but today is one of those rarities. Tonight was an alternating series of good and bad:
bad: First night of a game cancelled on short notice.
good: eating dinner with my housemates at home (It's unusual for us to end up eating together)
good: salvaging the night playing a board game with friends.
bad: hard drive failure. My computer froze while openning a folder, then upon reboot I got a abort/retry/fail option on reading the booting hard drive. Add that to an unhealthy clicking noise coming from my computer, and I am less than happy. I've never been good with computer repair (despite being a CS major), I'm better with theory than practical matters. Anyone have any advice on salvaging the HD? I'll probably poke around at it again tomorrow night.
