Things are looking up
So today was a wonderful day. Found out this morning that I got that summer research internship at UMass Medical. I met with the guy, Dr. Bolon, on Wednesday, and he emailed me this morning. I was kind of nervous because I had to beat out 3 other people for the position, but I guess I'm just that amazing. I should make some decent money this summer at $10/hour, and it should be full time. I just have to get all the payroll and lab safety orientation stuff out of the way and I'll be good to go! Woo!
And tonight I found out I got a 3.5 GPA for spring semester, 3 A's, two B+'s, and a C+ in orgo. But that C+ in orgo is pretty much an A+ in any other class in my book, so put that in your pipe and smoke it. This also means my scholarship is safe for another semester.
So pleased right now...new car, new job, new body, good grades..sa-weeeeet
Now to just figure out my housing situation...
