Window shopper
The weather here in Indiana has been kind of sucky lately. It’s effin cold yo! I guess that’s typical for the season, but it just seems to hit you like a freight train. Yesterday it was in the 50’s, but this afternoon it dipped down into the teens. JHVDHGDJHG!!!! It felt like my face was going to literally rip off when I walked to class. It’s sooooo beautiful though when the flurries come down from the heavens. The flakes are huge and IUP looks like a humongous snow globe. Yeah, I’m a sucker for pretty things.
On the school side of the spectrum, I’ve been plugging away at my classes. Yada yada yada. I cannot wait until I get my degree, because I’m really itchin to get my career on the roll. When I go home for Thanksgiving break, I’m going to continue the job search. Like I said before, right now I have some interest from Heinz Field and some other large companies, but I can’t wait to see what happens when I meet the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians on February 21st. I still have a LOT of time to make more official contacts and it’s likely that I will start off at the highest level I can attain in my profession (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB).
I’m attempting to become a little bit more active with my fraternity. They have been hurting for some dough over the past few months, so I was able to hook them up with a pretty huge fundraiser. Basically they do weapon checks at the Steeler / Panther games and the organization gets to keep the money that they earned (6.50 per hr, per person). If APO takes advantage of this opportunity, they could make up to 14,000 bucks by the end of next year. Yeah. I don’t think we’ve had more than 2000 in our account... ever. Hehehehe.
