Friday:
After my 9:15am Biomechanics lecture, I departed on an adventure back to my hometown! Woo hoo! It only took me 3 hrs and 20 minutes! Usually it takes about four and a half when I follow the speed limit, but I guess my foot was a little heavy.
Chad threw a pretty cool Halloween party! Everyone had to dress up, so I turned myself into a hard-core redneck. My costume consisted of a mullet wig, fake jacked up teeth, a red plaid shirt, grey sweatpants and brown work boots.
It was hilarious!
Brian and Kristen are now officially engaged! For them, it was just a matter of time… The same thing will probably go with Donnie and Laura and Jasin and Tracey. Everyone is either getting married, or just disappearing. IT KIND OF BLOWS! You can see the changes when people get into relationships, and I think it’s stupid. Yeah, it’s part of becoming an adult- but there’s no need for the shadiness.
I’m pretty much the only one left in the group without a significant other. It’s kind of funny, because I don’t think things will ever be different. I may as well marry my job… because at least I can see results when I put my heart into it. Something is definately wrong with the opposite sex- yall are evil.
Saturday:
I spent the whole day with my mom and Dave. We saw the movie Weatherman and went shopping for some clothes. I enjoy looking stylish… but it’s so hard to find large outfits. Big and Tall Casual male is the only place I can really buy stuff. I bought a bunch of Polo jeans and have several new buttoned down dress shirts, so I be lookin PIMP. Someday when I actually have money to spend, I’m gonna dress to impress. It’s part of the business world of sports, so I’ll be lookin all GQ’ed. *Bow chica bow wow*
My parents took me to dinner and then I met up with Rick and Chad to see Jarhead at the Cinema Center. It was pretty good, but honestly I expected a little more. When I come home from school, I always watch a lot of movies.
Sunday:
I visited my Grandpa at the retirement home, played with my dog Frankie and watched football on TV. GO STEELERS! My little vacation was just what I needed. It’s back to the grindstone for 3 more weeks at college, and then I’ll be back for Thanksgiving break.
