I really need to stop doing so many things that end at midnight on a school night. Last night's adventure took me to the Botanical Gardens where Taming of the Shrew was playing. Foolish boy that I was, I didn't take a jumper. I have this thing about summer that says I shouldn't be wearing such things, but last night once again put lie to that.
Anyway, the play was quite good, although hampered by some very ordinary work by the girl in the operations booth... awful mike-work, music cues and lapses in the lighting. However, the acting was quite good. Petrucio was played by the same man i saw earlier this year play Richard iii in which he was also excellent. As many others have said, its conclusion doesn't fit very well with today's feminist ideals... and it can provoke muchoswith the discussion in particular circles.
No gym for a week for me. They're closing at 5 every day. My new, sweatier activities will have to occur in the wild. Egads!
