I gots promoted!!!!
After busting my tail for the last several months, I have finally been promoted at work! Starting this Saturday, I will be the Meat Department Merchandise Supervisor at the store. This is a big answer to prayer. I have been working towards going into management for quite some time now and I am finally a step closer. Thank you Lord!
On a not so good note, my Papaw is in the hospital. He is doing well, for the time being. However, he is not out of the woods yet. To make a long story short, he was taken to the emergency room yesterday with severe pain in his side. He was given medication to manage the pain while they determined the cause of his pain. He ended up getting a bad reaction to it and flat-lined for about 20 seconds. They were able to revive him and his vitals have been good since. However, they are still trying to nail down the cause of what put him in the hospital in the first place. When I saw him today, he was very tired and ready to leave. So, please keep him and my family in your prayers.
