I don't know where to begin. I spose the beginning is good.
Dave's mom called me about 3 weeks ago and asked if I would like to come with the family to pick up Dave and surprise him. Obviously I said yes and she said she would call me when the 20th was closer to talk time and what not. So....the 18th rolled around and she gave me a ring. Then, on the 20th, the family came and got me at my house and got to the airport and waited for Dave. :) I didn't bring a jacket b/c I'm dumb like that.....so "Dad" had brought a jacket for Dave and he wrapped it around my shoulders. Amazingly priceless. I feel so welcome in my new family. It rules. Anywho,
Once the plane landed, I hid behind dad and waited for Dave to come off the plane. He hugged his mom and I came out from behind dad and surprised my baby. The look on his face was awesome and we hugged and sitting here writing about it almost makes me cry. No one can even begin to understand the love we have. I actually got weak in the knees once I saw him. My hands were shaking, and my knees couldn't stay steady. So thankfully, Dave put his arm around me and held me up. Then, we got into the truck and headed back to Mtown. We made a pit stop at Blockbuster's and dad picked me up Halo 2. :) I was so excited! haha. Then we went back to the house and Caleigh and I played a few games and then Dave whipped my ass hardcore. I never knew he was so good at Halo 2....it was sad how terrible I am at it compared to him. haha. Then Caleigh and I played some racing game. After that, Joe came over and we all headed to the Texas Roadhouse for some dinner. Had dinner....Caleigh and I shared the biggest cheeseburger I've ever seen. haha. Then Joe and Dave took me home. Dave came into the house to say hi to the parents, but no one was home. So we took a little time to ourselves and Joe waited in the car...haha. We got a few minutes just to lie in my bed, kiss and talk.
Words can't express how amazing it is to hold him and be held again. I really can't describe the feeling I have after not seeing my baby for 4 months and now having him here and us being even more in love with eachother than when he left. Love is truly the most incredible feeling in the entire world. Tonight, me, Joe and Dave visited Joy and Kristi and then headed to McDonalds for some grub. Ate, and then visited Nicky at work. Took Joe home and Dave and I went to Wal*Mart and looked at things to buy eachother for some ideas, and searched for the Shaun Of The Dead movie. We were pissed it wasn't there. Then we came back to my house and cuddled on the couch and watched White Chicks, just like old times. It rocked to say the least. Then I had to take him home and here I am.
Tomorrow night is going to rule as well because he's sleeping over! :) We get to sleep in the same bed and everything. Right on parents. I'm so glad they're being cool about this because I just can't wait to wake up next to him. Not to mention I'm going down with him on the 2nd until the 10th and we're going to kinda live together for 8 days! So rad. I can't wait to see where he lives and meet all of his friends, especially Beau because apparently thats his new best friend. A cool southern guy from Louisiana or something. haha. So cool.
Alright well, I better get to bed. I just wanted to write down what has been going on these past fews days. I hope everyones vacation rocks and I know I'll be seeing all of you around. *goodnight*
