A couple of brand new tunes and a couple of new old tunes
Hey all! I finally got a chance to upload a couple new tunes I've been meaning to get to over the last couple of weeks. Here's what I've got, as always you can download these tunes from HERE. The easiest way to find the new stuff is to sort the list by descending date, or click the links below to go to the specific tune. Per usual, a comment is appreciated if you're grabbing something.
She's The Bomb - Live at Emile's LRC 09/14/2011
-A fun new jam in the laidback, not-too-serious tone of Sail Away and Mamma Say. This one and the next are from Emile's amazing LRC that you should already have downloaded from HERE by now.
I Never Knew You - Live at Emile's LRC 09/14/2011
-A great little jaunty tune that fits the vibe of what will probably be the new album attitude. It'll be interesting to see what happens to this one musically when/if it hits the new record. I dig it acoustic like this.
Rated Ours (feat. Amber Rubarth) - Live at Hotel Cafe 10/12/2011
-Also known briefly as "The Whistler Soundcheck Song" since that's where Mraz debuted it, I've included this version with Amber Rubarth because they sound great together and I dig the energy. I suppose I should also note that J and Amber have a great duet called "Mirror" on Amber's recent album that you can grab from iTunes HERE. You can have a listen on Youtube HERE.
In case you've missed anything over the last month or so, you can find the entire list of what's available HERE and a full change-log for the most recent additions after the cut.
Also, I wanted to note that probably the best live Mraz recording on Archive.org has been updated to include two songs that were left out at the time because they were not authorized to be shared. The recording is the Live at Backyard Dagmar show from 07/15/2007 and the "new" tunes are All Dialed In and Longest Day of the Year. Both are very much worth your time to download and if you've yet to grab that show you're missing out on a real gem.
