... and, in almost complete opposition to School Days, Elfen Lied starts with one of the bloodiest scenes I've seen, and proceeds to end in a decidedly unexpected, non-tragic way.
Except that the ending is very unclear, and there's lots and lots more that can be told, I'm sure.
I hope the powers that be decide to make a sequel.
