Hit n Run = AMAZING
So I've started my PGDE and I must say that I am LOVING it so far!
It is so refreshing to be studying something totally different to Physics. Everyone is so nice! People speak to me! People actually know my name! It is fantastic!
It really is heavy workload but I was prepared for that. I'm still totally thrilled that I am on the course.
My first placement starts a week on Monday at Towerbank Primary School in Portobello. Mental.
It is a Nursey one so I'm hoping it will be really fun. Scary part is that I am assessed on it. So fingers crossed!
I had my last day at Kumon today. It was fine. I'm glad that I don't have to plan things around that. Uni days are 9-5 so I really don't have time for it. I told my boss that will try to come in when my timetable allowed and she seemed fine about that. At least I'm not bound by a contract anymore.
The only thing bad (so far.....) about this whole PG thing is that I'm gonna have to give up breakfast club. I'm going to have a chat with my 'colleagues' tomorrow and tell them that I have to hand in my notice.
I am totally gutted. I love that job. It is so funny. I suppose it is all for the best but I will definately cry on my last day, for sure.
