DR. (hardly) Drew
so, i've had an issue with my political science teacher from the start. i've written many assignments for him, where he responds to homosexuality negatively, or calls it a "personal choice". he is black, and tells me to remember that "a persons sexual preference isn't like being black... you don't choose to be black." so i've told him, again and again, that a persons sexual ORIENTATION isn't a choice, where he responds "but the jury's still out on that; no one has proved it's genetic." today in class we had "political presentations" where people present a subject of their choice. said guy presents the "legalization of all drugs." and i'm think, ok, this is pretty sweet. then, he starts talking about things we could use the money for that usually goes to enforcing drug trafficking. ironically enough he mentions SEX EDUCATION. next, he mentions how maybe if we spent money on sex education, we would have people having gay relationships. then, he says "let me give you an example... you know, what's that state, Massachusetts. that's why we need sex education." and everyone starts laughing and laughing like the ignorant spoiled fuckheads they are and "Dr." Drew is pretty much rolling on the floor. next, he (said kid) says "see, this is how bad it is: (and he points to another guy in the class) you and i could go be partners. lets go to Massachusetts" and pointed to guy responds: "but i'm older than you, so you'd have to receive!" one once again the class goes ape-shit as i'm turning completely red. and the girl sitting next to me looks disgusted and says "what the hell is going on in here!?" and i respond "it's call immaturity" and pointed-to-guy looks at me and laughs and says "oh yeah, we're sooo immature." and at that point i couldn't handle it and just fucking jammed out of the classroom. another girl who sits next to me comes running after me screaming my name. jesus, every time i think it's ok to be optimistic about these so called "educated college students" i am completely appalled by their lack of compassion, common sense, or even subtle intelligence. FUCK I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE.
