Sometimes I think Greta cannot possibly be my child. Last week I made pizza and *broccoli (*for her not me) for lunch and while she gobbled up a lb of broccoli, she wouldn't even consider so much as touching the pizza no matter how hard I tried (I, of course, then proceeded to eat the entire pizza). Then tonight I made this creamy ground turkey mushroom thing with egg noddles, and while she normally likes the noodles she ate everything around it, oranges, blueberries and yes, more broccoli, but wouldn't touch the casserole. How can this child be related to me? Not that I hate broccoli, but put a pile of it in front of me vs a pizza...... and bitch, please.
In other food news, my post-lunch treat for the day consisted of my usual fat free chocolate frozen yogurt, but with strawberries, chocolate syrup, melted peanut butter, chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles. What? Frozen yogurt is totally good for you! Pft. Shut up.
(at least my bad eating habits are not rubbing off on my child...but someday,..... she'll discover my dirty little secret)
