Celebration of Stupidity
Once again I find myself wondering how it is that I live in the country I do and question my decision of coming back. How am I so out of step with the average American? Am I really that much of a freak for wanting a President who is smarter than me? I don't want Joe Six-pack running this country. I don't need to be able to 'relate' to my President! Why is intelligence considered a bad thing? I don't want to be able to drink a beer with him or her! And by the way, how has that worked for us so far? It's scares the bejebus out of me that so many people are ascribing the word "Brilliant" to 'Gee willikers, say it ain't so by golly gosh!' Seriously, people? Seriously?
