" yeah some might say Lucifer created Hell, but isn't God the Creator of Creation, all knowing and all powerful, wouldn't he have been able to forsee Lucifer's rebellion and molded exsistence to his will, ultimately uncreating Lucifer so that he would have never existed? "

Actually, God created Hell. After Lucifer tricked Adam & Eve into eating from the tree of Knowledge, which God had told them not to, he knew that Lucifer was to evil. So God banished him to Hell. He also made Lucifer into a serpant, so that he must suffer for all eternity on his belly.

"That brings up the question, who created the creator."

That of course is one of the most common questions asked when talking about the 'creation'. But as my faith has tought me, he was always there. How, i don't know. That's one thing that I've never seemed to understand either. If He was ALWAYS here, then y did he all of a sudden decide to create us?! He could've done that sooner, or later. And Y did He HAVE to rest on the 7th day, y not inbetween, like on the 3rd or 4th day. Or NEVER. It is God here, he's supposed to be 'Perfect'. So if He's so 'Perfect', then He wouldn't need to rest at all.

But as I've told you, I'm still always going to be a Catholic girl. I'm to scared that there really is a hell, and I'm to scared to go there and suffer. But yet the Bible says that the only way not to get into Heaven, is if you don't believe in God at all. So then what if I was a murderer and I killed everyone on the planet, but I still believed in God. Could I still get to go to Heaven?! So many questions, and noone here to r e a l l y answer them.

Luv Yah Nickel! and sorry for not calling you, I got sick and threw-up. But i'm ALL better now! =) well sort of :-/ luv yah hun, byez . . .

You see also, fear. You have the fear of Hell. It is religions ultimate weapon.

The fear of hell aplies only to the guilty

But poor Steph up there is not a guilty soul, yet she still fears the torments of hell. There are those who feel if they don't "serve" their God to the fullest they will still be banished to the bowels of hell.

God isnt demanding, amd there is nothing we can do for Him that He couldnt do for Himself. Steph has nothing to fear, as long as she is kind to others, she is serving God in the Fullest way imagineable

we have many of the same viewpoints, but religion seems to be where we seperate. I think that its great that you have something to believe in, but for me i lost my faith a long time ago.
"Imagine theres no heaven, its easy if you try. No Hell below us, above us only sky."

Your right, we do have a lot in common, and I am glad that we are able to dissagree on things as well. I also respect the fact that you dont have a particular religion. I am not here to convert you, But this will be a topic of great discussion if we ever need something to kill time.

unfortunatley according to dante's inferno.. murderers are banished to the 7th level of hell.

Level 7

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

however if you were to be forgiven for your sins before you die.. you may just make it into purgatory and eventually work ur way up the mountain to heaven
