It seems that my Christmas season is fraught with bad things. I'll start off this little tale by telling you that for over a decade my father has had a huge christmas light display on his property. Almost half a million lights, it's a lot. Anyhow, my Father took the time to put up some sort of display for nearly every religeon, as to have something for everyone. At times one of us would play santa clause and sit in a little heated shed for cars to stop by and hand out candy cains to the kids. My Father has done all of this for other people and has always turned away "donations." Here is the crappy part, some time Friday night and Saturday evening someone went onto the property and cut off the heads of most of the extension cords. Then they cut the extension cords again, about every 100 feet. They took particular attention to mangle three crosses in the display, and then moved on to as many other things as they could get to. Yep, Ithaca the land of tolerance.
I hope they have a merry Christmas, because with an attitude like that, I think they are in for a crappy season.
