Peter's Birthday Surprise

The Christmas tree was up, decorated with all sorts of ornaments and lights. There were also lights strung around the walls of the apartment. Sylar had gone a little overboard with the holiday cheer. Those were the only sources of light in the living room except for the two candles on the dining room table. Sylar had just finished cooking one of Peter’s favorite dishes, Fettuccini Alfredo, and was working on setting the table. It was almost time for the empath to be home from work and the preparations had to be perfect. Today was a special day - Peter’s birthday - and Sylar had something quite nice in store for him. Well, besides the food and sweet lovin’, there was a present waiting for Peter in the bedroom.

As he was putting the finishing touches on the table, the sounds of keys jingling could be heard as the door unlocked. With a huge grin, Sylar turned and walked over to greet his boyfriend with an embrace and kiss. “Hey there, how was your day?”
