So we got on 75 around 3pm. We were making excellent time and would've arrived here (Ft. Lauderdale) around..12ish. When we are near Orlando- about 50 miles away from it in a small town called Wild Wood, my mom stops breathing. We pull off to the side of the road and she throws up. Ft. Lauderdale is where my great grandmother used to have a home. In the backyard, there were many, many plants. I remember thinking it was a jungle. I loved her house. It has been torned down recently for condos. Go figure.
30 minutes south from Ft.L. is Hollywood, my hometown. It used to be a really, really neat area, complete with a rainbow bridge. Sigh.
Now I'm all nostalgic.
I'm so, so sorry about the recent events. If you believe this at all, I know how you feel right now.
Think positive- its the only way to not be upset about the whole ordeal. I'm not saying try denial, but do think your mother is going to be alright. You'll be in my thoughts.
