as much as we may move on from the towns we grow up in, the friends we acquired growing up and from the music we came to know, nostalgia always hits you at random moments, kind of like right now for me. That's one thing about music that i absolutely love, it's ability to remind you of times in your life and everything about that part of your life; the friends you had and where they are now and what they're doing, what you looked like, how different you were, what kinds of hobbies you had then versus what you enjoy now, and if that same music still hits you like it did then. Listening to certain songs and even some certain bands just remind me so well of everything that i enjoyed about being in greenville, especially the people that i was surrounded by growing up. Now greenville may have its share of faults like any town that someone grows up in, but the people in a town are really what make it interesting and fun, and greenville defintely had it's share of that crowd.
It makes me both sad and happy to think about things of that nature, but all in all it always seems good to remind myself of good times from back in the day(all of 5 and 6 years ago). And since class starts in 8 hours, i need sleep. G'night all.
