Hola, LJ crew, I'm gracing you with my words yet again.
Rather ironic, though, that one of my instructors complimented me on my gift for writing when I'm pretty well sure that I'm just not going to turn in anything for the final paper for my English Composition course, and thus fail. It's not writer's block, I'm just totally and completely uninspired.
Currently, I'm waiting around in the campus library in Auburn, waiting for Kevin to contact me when he's done with his final. And then we'll hang out for a bit before he has to go to his other final. I'm done for the day; I had my 3rd history test at 0800 (I was done before 0830). Now all I've got left is my bio test tomorrow at noon.
And then tomorrow afternoon I get to drive to Bessemer because, that's right kids, IT'S DRILL WEEKEND!!! ...hooray...
But at least I get to do a LOT of demolition this weekend. That'll be its only saving grace.
After I get back on Sunday night I'm back in J-ville for a week. I know, nifty, right? That means a week of hanging out and fucking around before the fall semester begins and all hell breaks loose. Le sigh.
Yesterday I found a VERY well-written fanfiction of the Halo universe; it deals with a group of Spartans trained on Earth, waging war against the Covenant during the events of Halo 2 and 3. But what's truly intriguing is that it's written by a recently-graduated high-school kid. Gotta give this kid props, for sure.
Also, I'm living at Kalan Stowe's place until tomorrow morning. Damned rich kids, lol...
So in conclusion, inspiration, drill, and fanfiction.
Have a good [insert period of time]!
