FSU Pow Wow

What a grand time. I bought tickets from Pop-Tart of Alpha Chi Sigma. I went with Sarah and we had a blast. There was some school spirit stuff with some athletes, cheerleaders, dancing, etc, but the best part was Dave Attell and Carlos Mencia. Both of the comedy sets were really really funny. I hate going to a comedy show and only chuckling at some of the jokes, but thankfully I was ROFL the entire time. Carlos Mencia brought me to tears. He started talking about how the pope is probably in heaven right now getting some pussy from some fine bitches. Carlos Mencia talked about how the pope would bring up some bitches from hell so he can be extra dirty and freaky with them, and then the pope would jizz on their faces and they would scream in agony from the holy cum. I nearly wet myself I was laughing so hard. A good part of Carlos Mencia's set talked about how it's a shame that the world is becoming so politcally correct.

If Carlos did the same talk minus the comedy, then it could have totally been a philosophical lecture. This made the show even better than regular comedy because there were a bunch of take home message included for free. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it regardless because they are two really funny guys, but I liked it even more because of what it was. I'm totally going to go on Netflix now and see if I can't find some more Carlos Mencia stuff.

On another note, I went to the mall and picked up a phat black and white Puma jacket from Journeys. I then went to Walmart for like 2 hours and I spent a lot more money than I should have. I'm a really slow decision maker if I don't have anyone egging me on, so I sat around forever thinking about every purchase. I was starving by the time I finally got home, so I ate an entire pizza and a salad by myself. I woke up early, went to sleep at 11, and finally didn't get back up again until around 3. So now it's almost midnight and I have only just eaten dinner. I'm going to make my way to the Seminole Suites gym in a little bit.

I think this is the week where I force myself to get out of the insomnia rut that I've been in for quite some time now. It is really killing me in energy levels and focus in school work and in class. I'm always so exhausted by the time I get home from school that I don't feel like doing any of my homework or being productive. I've still managed to get to the gym at least every other day, so at least I haven't slacked off on that.

I might pick up some running shoes and start doing more cardio. The nutrition lady at the Leach said I should avoid cardio like the plague since cardio would cause me turn burn off calories as opposed to using them for building more muscle (or something like that since my workout goal is not to lose weight but to put on weight and muscle). I already eat 3000 calories a day, and all I primarily do is lift. I can only imagine what sort of vaccuum I would become if I did cardio in addition to my normal lifting routine.

I need some apple juice.
