I guess this journal needs an update. First of all, we need some closure for the Ghetto Oklahoma. The last two performances went pretty well. Nothing too ghetto to talk about it. They invited us back to play with them next year. They're doing Guys and Dolls. Oh yes, everyone, ghetto Guys and Dolls. It'll be fun times.
This week has been pretty uneventful. I've been doing a lot of research for my "Censorship and the Sacred in Children's Literature" seminar. I'm writing a 15 page research paper on whether or not "Bridge to Terabithia" is appropriate for a 4th grade public school class in the Pocono Mountains, PA. If anyone has any useful information on the topic, please let me know.
Last night was pretty fun. My roommate is on the e-board for Dance Etc., the ballroom dancing club. They had foxtrot lessons last night. A few girls and I got some guys to go with us and we had a blast. Nobody knew what they were doing, so it was hilarious. Phi Mu Alpha had an open mic coffeehouse last night as well. I went to see Acabellas, the female a capella group that some friends of mine run. They rocked my world. It was awesome.
Today was lots of fun. I watched like 2 hours of Green Acres. I haven't seen that show in years. It was fabulous. I'm pretty much procrastinating right now. I have a ton of work to do and I'm totally not motivated to do it. Wow, who would have ever thought that I wouldn't want to do work. Guess I better stop procrastinating and get to it......
